“I’m Created to Create”
— Abby Rose

Abby's Story

Abby Rose's passion for art began as soon as she could hold a pencil. Her love for animals, particularly horses, inspired her to spend hours every day penciling in her sketch book. Shortly after turning fourteen, Abby attended her first pastel class with renowned artist, Leslie Harrison in 2010. She took to the medium instantly, thrilled with just how much detail the pastels allowed her to place into her work. It didn't take long before Abby's unique skill set began attracting attention from the public.

Her career as an artist began in 2011 when she was asked to paint her first commission; henceforth, her work has been steadily increasing in demand.

In 2016 Abby Rose was commissioned to paint the rodeo poster for Hollister's 84th Annual San Benito County Horse and Saddle Show. Her work has been spotlighted in Hollister magazines and newspapers.

The Heart Behind Heartworks

A perfectionist by nature, Abby Rose aspires to achieve excellence in all of her work; not only for her own name sake, but for the delight of her clients. Nothing excites Abby more than the opportunity to work with wonderful animals and their people to create a masterpiece.

As Abby likes to say, "I'm created to create".
